Celebrating Scholarships 2019

The 2019 Celebration of Scholarships Event was held on April 13, 2019, bringing together scholarship donors and student recipients for a day to say THANK YOU for keeping Carolina at the forefront of access and opportunity. 

An Event to Remember

The program included a welcome by UNC Athletic Director Bubba Cunningham and Interim Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz, followed by a student panel, lead by Steve Farmer, Vice Provost for Enrollment and Undergraduate Admissions, which included students Luke Beyer ’19, Destiny Planter ’16, ’21 (J.D.), and Hannah Wondmagegn ’21.

Following the program, attendees cheered on the Tar Heels, and the return of Coach Mack Brown, in the Blue/White spring football game.
