The health issues faced by North Carolinians — from Murphy to Manteo, in rural areas and metropolitan ones — reflect many of the issues faced by the citizens of the world. Through the training of health-care professionals and groundbreaking research — in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health and dentistry — Carolina will improve the health of the world, starting right here in our home state.
