Carolina Covenant: Unlock Potential. Drive Success.

For 20 years, the Carolina Covenant — UNC-Chapel Hill’s groundbreaking program for students from low-income families — has made college dreams reality by empowering students with debt-free education and limitless opportunities. Approximately 50% of Carolina Covenant Scholars are first-generation college students.

Invest in the Future

Carolina Covenant Scholars, like Dr. Eanes, give back through their careers that have an impact on our health, economy, policy, community and beyond. Gifts to the Carolina Covenant help ensure that this groundbreaking program thrives for the next 20 years.

From Carolina Covenant to rural OB-GYN

“The citizens of North Carolina and the taxpayers are going to benefit for another generation because of people like Alisa and of course, the Carolina Covenant.”

— The late Dr. Charlie van der Horst, Alisa’s college advisor
