Graduate School Dean's Fund

This unrestricted fund is our most powerful tool for supporting graduate students. It enables The Graduate School to respond quickly to emerging needs, launch new initiatives and invest in opportunities the moment they arise.

Graduate Student Emergency Fund

This Fund exists to provide financial assistance to graduate and professional students with emergency financial assistance for unforeseen financial circumstances that could hinder their ability to complete their graduate or professional degrees.

Heels Care Network

Provide support for all existing and emerging on-campus programs to promote mental health, resiliency and well-being for Carolina students.

Innovate Carolina Student Engagement

Supports students pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors including internships at startups, the 1789 club, micro-grants, pitch competitions and more.

Kenan-Flagler MBA Student Emergency Fund

Provides financial assistance to full-time Master of Business Administration students who encounter unforeseen and urgent financial difficulties that may otherwise hinder their ability to continue their education successfully.

Learning and Writing Center Relocation Fund

Provides support for the relocation of the Writing and Learning Center to the Robert B. House Undergraduate Library.

Melwani Belonging Fund

Provides support for disadvantaged students at Kenan-Flagler to be able to afford business attire for their interviews.

Military and Veteran Student Success Fund

Provide support for our military-connected community by way of our newly re-launched Military and Veteran Student Success Center, now in the heart of campus. 

MSW Practicum Scholarships

Provides support for stipends to MSW students completing their required internships, often relieving them of the need for outside work for pay. 

Nursing-Expendable

Provides support for the Dean’s top funding priorities and areas of greatest need.
