Morehead-Cain identifies the most promising young leaders across our state, nation and world, and invests in a transformational college experience at Carolina that prepares them for a lifetime of impact.

Provides essential resources to connect public health research with real-world practice by training professionals and partnering with communities to improve population health.

Provides support for expanding study abroad opportunities to enable all Carolina students to have a meaningful global experience during their studies.

Provides support for merit-based scholarships, access to cutting-edge research opportunities, professional development, leadership training, mentorship and programming designed for academic and future success.

Provides resources to areas of need in the UNC School of Education community. Often this includes valuable funding to support undergraduate and graduate student travel for internships, fellowships and academic or professional conferences.

Supports faculty committed to groundbreaking basic research and the translational work needed to move discoveries into the world through translational excellence.
