The Ackerman Center for Excellence in Sustainability

Provides discretionary support for the Ackerman Center for Excellence in Sustainability at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. The Ackerman Center for Excellence in Sustainability drives responsible thought leadership and education to accelerate progress in social and environmental sustainability through innovative and profitable business solutions.

The Alberta Beat Dolan Endowed Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarship support for undergraduate dental hygiene students.

The Department of Earth, Marine and Environmental Sciences Fund

Provides support for the Earth / Geological Sciences, Marine Sciences, and Environmental Sciences programs.

The Hortense McClinton Legacy Scholarship

Provide support for students interested in pursuing a social work degree to do so with limited debt, which honors the first Black faculty member at Carolina.

The Louise Coggins Pathways Scholarship

This fund was established to provide scholarship support to Bachelor of Social Work students at the UNC School of Social Work.

The School of Social Work Scholarship Fund

Provide support for dozens of scholarship funds to help students. Some are designated for students who meet certain criteria — for example, a student who lives in a particular county or a student who is pursuing a particular career in social work.

The School of Social Work Social Justice Fund

Provides support for students who enhance racial and cultural diversity.

The Social Work Unrestricted Fund

Provide flexible support for student scholarships, faculty research and community initiatives, ensuring the greatest impact where it's needed most.

The United States Military Veterans Dental Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarship support for DDS and Dental Hygiene students who are veterans of the United States military (Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy or Coast Guard) in the UNC Adams School of Dentistry. DDS and DH students who are the dependents of US military veterans would also be eligible for selection based on academic performance and financial need.

THRIVE Program General Fund

Provides support for the Transforming Health and Resilience in Veterans (THRIVE) Program, whose mission is to serve veterans and first responders by improving the evaluation and treatment of traumatic brain injuries through clinical practice, research and education.
