Center for Media Law and Public Policy in the School of Law
Provides support for advancing research, education, and public dialogue on media law, free expression, and emerging communication technologies at UNC School of Law.
Center for Public Engagement with Science
Supports a network of field sites through semester-long, immersive experiences in North Carolina and abroad where students live and learn in diverse ecosystems — from mountains to coasts to urban environments while advancing education, research, and community engagement.
Clinical Programs Discretionary Fund
Provides support for Carolina Law’s clinical programs, where students gain hands‑on legal experience while expanding access to justice for individuals and communities in need.

Provide support for scholarships, research opportunities and professional development experiences that empower our students to thrive — at Carolina and beyond.
Community Service Scholarship Program Expendable Fund
Provides support for tuition assistance and programming to select, service-oriented undergraduates to advance their commitment, knowledge and skills related to service. Community Service Scholars receive training, mentorship and individualized support of specific public service interests.
CPILO Current Use Fund
Provides support for Carolina Law students pursuing unpaid or underfunded summer professional work opportunities serving the public interest.
Curtis Media Center Endowment
Provide support for AV integration and operations for the new, state-of-the-art broadcast studio and Curtis Media Center.
DFI
Provides support for the Development Finance Initiative (DFI), which assists local governments with community development projects.
Director Development Initiative
Provides support for UNC School of Law to prepare and connect aspiring leaders with nonprofit and corporate board service opportunities.
