Provides support for premiering new plays, designing and crafting costumes, reducing ticket costs for student matinees and hiring actors, directors and other artists from across the country to bring their talents to Chapel Hill.
Pro Bono Discretionary Fund
Funds experiential pro bono opportunities that allow Carolina Law students to serve individuals and communities in need while building essential skills for practice.
Public Defense Education Fund
Provides support for training and courses at the SOG for public defenders, judicial officials, and others working in public defense.
Public Policy Fund
Supports the Department of Public Policy by funding general program needs, student research, faculty support and department activities.
School of Government Foundation
Provides flexible support for the school’s highest priorities — expanding impact, strengthening programs and responding to emerging needs across the state.
Sonja Haynes Stone Center Gift Fund
Provides support for the Stone Center to respond to pressing programmatic needs and pursue new opportunities, as well as collaborate on innovative projects with faculty, students, and staff.
Stone Center 20 for 20
Provides support for the “20-for-20” initiative, which celebrates the 20-year anniversary of the Stone Center building, spanning from 2004 to 2024. This opportunity invites individuals to make a monthly recurring gift of $20, committed for 20 years, with the pledge broken into 5-year increments. The funds raised will go toward supporting the Stone Center’s Gift Fund, helping sustain its mission and programs over the long term.
Stone Center Art Fund
Provides support for the visual arts programs and initiatives in the Brown Gallery and other spaces in the Stone Center building.
Stone Center Seat Naming Campaign
Provides donors with the opportunity to inscribe their name, a loved one’s name, their business, or in memoriam, to create a lasting legacy. A permanent brass plate with your inscription will be installed on the seat you select in the Stone Center Auditorium. Your named seat serves as a reminder of your commitment to the Stone Center’s mission.
The Harbor Fund
Provides support for the maintenance of and resources for The Harbor, our newly renovated student-centered space on the Stone Center's third floor, designed to transform student learning and experience.
