The UNC Kenan-Flagler Energy Center promotes achieving an effective, consensus national energy policy that addresses the dual energy challenge — providing plentiful, affordable and secure energy while materially reducing Greenhouse Gas emissions and educating students in all sectors of the energy industry.

Supports Sustainable Carolina, UNC-Chapel Hill’s central hub for advancing sustainability by connecting campus operations, academics, and research, tracking progress, and engaging the community in hands-on efforts to reduce environmental impact and promote long-term well-being.
