Brett and Sara Weed Judith Wegner Local Government Fellowship Fund

Provides support for a 12-month Local Government Law Fellowship at the School of Government that prepares newly graduated attorneys for careers in local government law, with an emphasis on serving North Carolina counties and municipalities.

Carolina Law Dean's Excellence Fund

Empowers the dean to invest strategic resources toward key priorities and high-impact initiatives that advance the mission of Carolina Law.

Carolina Law Externship Program Fund

Provides support for the Externship Program, connecting Carolina Law students with mentored, hands‑on legal experience alongside judges and practicing attorneys.

Center for the Business of Health

Provides support for the ongoing operations, programming, and research of the UNC Center for the Business of Health (CBOH) at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Use of funds may include supporting core programs that focus on co-curricular learning opportunities, interdisciplinary research and faculty support, student career development, new courses and offerings, and convening major events and symposia at the intersection of business and health.

Clinical Programs Discretionary Fund

Provides support for Carolina Law’s clinical programs, where students gain hands‑on legal experience while expanding access to justice for individuals and communities in need.

CPILO Current Use Fund

Provides support for Carolina Law students pursuing unpaid or underfunded summer professional work opportunities serving the public interest.

Department of Economics

Provides support for the department's greatest needs, which include showcasing faculty research, aiding students' travel to conferences and competitions, funding the Quantitative Financial Economic Program and offering seminars and Career Preparation courses.

Family Enterprise Center

Provides discretionary support for the Family Enterprise Center at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. The Family Enterprise Center aims to lead the way in family enterprise education by empowering students, alumni and families to tackle evolving global challenges through learning, connection and stewardship.
