Provides support to the greatest need of the department to study how environmental factors such as air, water and pollution affect human health and develop solutions to protect our communities.

Provides support for the department to investigate the causes, patterns and prevention of diseases and health conditions in populations.

The Football Excellence Fund is designed to provide immediate, unrestricted funding to address the current needs of the Carolina Football program.
FORevHER Tar Heels Women’s Excellence Fund
Provides support for interpersonal, professional, and leadership programming and development opportunities. This fund enriches a student-athlete’s experience by building on the valuable life skills developed through team sports, such as time management, decision-making, leadership, and teamwork.

Supports the director in expanding strategic partnerships with academic collaborators, advancing innovative research and educational initiatives, and fostering meaningful engagement with local stakeholders on critical environmental challenges.
