Adams School of Dentistry Dean's Fund

Provides support for the dean’s vision for the Adams School of Dentistry.

Arts and Sciences Faculty Enrichment Fund

Provides support for faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences, including travel grants, departmental support, moving/recruitment/ retention, and seed money for new teaching and scholarship projects, teaching grants and new course development funds.

Arts and Sciences Fund

Provides support for the College’s highest priorities — recruiting and retaining faculty, enhancing student engagement, deepening academic excellence and achieving global impact.

Charles M. and Shirley F. Weiss Endowment for Creativity in Performing Arts-Stone Center

Provides support for various performing arts initiatives of Carolina faculty, students, and staff who work in collaboration with the Stone Center in fulfilling its mission and is named for the late Professors Charles M. Weiss and Shirley F. Weiss.

Communication Studies

Provide support for scholarships, research opportunities and professional development experiences that empower our students to thrive — at Carolina and beyond.

Dental Foundation Gift Fund

Provides support for the Dental Foundation and UNC Adams School of Dentistry leadership to work together to identify and meet the school’s greatest needs, be it programs, equipment and supplies, or staff, faculty and student support.

Department of Dramatic Art

Provides support for departmental priorities such as productions, student research and travel, or to bring in a special guest to lead a master class or direct a project.

Department of Music

Provides support for a wide variety of initatives, including core student-centered programs such as the UNC Concerto Competition, UNC Opera premieres, other ensembles, symposiums and guest artists.

Faculty Engaged Scholars Program

Provides support for advancing engaged scholarship for Carolina faculty. Selected scholars participate in a two-year curriculum, develop projects and create a learning community yielding new interdisciplinary collaborations, successful grant applications and unique outcomes of scholarship.
