Fund for the School of Civic Life and Leadership

The Fund for the School of Civic Life and Leadership is created to provide expendable resources for the general support of the School of Civic Life and Leadership.

Global Social Development Innovation (GSDI)

Provides support for economic security, workforce development, financial inclusion, social protection, health, and education. Its projects are in India, Kenya, Uganda and other countries.

Graduate Medical Education Excellence Fund

Provides support for UNC Health Residents and Fellows for educational enrichment, research, professional travel, and emergency funding.

MSW Practicum Scholarships

Provides support for stipends to MSW students completing their required internships, often relieving them of the need for outside work for pay. 

School of Medicine Alumni Loyalty Fund

Provides support for student scholarships, faculty and educational enrichment. This fund is replacing Medical Alumni Loyalty Fund.

Social Work-Continuing Education

Provides support for scholarships, which allow access to cutting edge research and practices to new practitioners and recent graduates when attending may be cost prohibitive.

The Hortense McClinton Legacy Scholarship

Provide support for students interested in pursuing a social work degree to do so with limited debt, which honors the first Black faculty member at Carolina.

The Iris Carlton-LaNey Scholarship Fund

Provides support for MSW students who are pursuing careers as social work professionals in the areas of social justice and racial equity.

The Louise Coggins Pathways Scholarship

This fund was established to provide scholarship support to Bachelor of Social Work students at the UNC School of Social Work.

The School of Civic Life and Leadership Course Enhancement Fund

Strengthen SCiLL's distinctive curriculum by funding guest lecturers, debate and dialogue programming, experiential learning and other enhancements that deepen students' understanding of civic life and leadership.
