Global Social Development Innovation (GSDI)

Provides support for economic security, workforce development, financial inclusion, social protection, health, and education. Its projects are in India, Kenya, Uganda and other countries.

Graduate Professional Development Fund

The Graduate School’s CareerWell Professional Development program equips graduate students with the skills to thrive beyond academia. Through workshops, coaching and targeted resources, we prepare students to lead and excel in diverse career paths.

Graduate School Dean's Fund

This unrestricted fund is our most powerful tool for supporting graduate students. It enables The Graduate School to respond quickly to emerging needs, launch new initiatives and invest in opportunities the moment they arise.

Impact Awards

Impact Awards recognize current graduate students and recent graduate alumni whose research contributes to the educational, economic, physical, social or cultural well-being of North Carolina communities and citizens.

MSW Practicum Scholarships

Provides support for stipends to MSW students completing their required internships, often relieving them of the need for outside work for pay. 

Social Work-Continuing Education

Provides support for scholarships, which allow access to cutting edge research and practices to new practitioners and recent graduates when attending may be cost prohibitive.

Student Success Fund

The Graduate School’s Grad Student Success program creates community and provides support for graduate students from every background. Through targeted programming and peer connection, we help ensure that all students have what they need to thrive and complete their degrees successfully.
