Building for the future

Carolina is proud to be the nation’s first public university. With a campus that has grown and evolved for more than 230 years, we face the unique challenge of blending the future with the past. Our charge is to create spaces that honor this history while advancing Carolina’s mission as a forward-looking institution of global stature. Over the next decade, Carolina will expand undergraduate enrollment, launch new schools and academic programs and reimagine key campus spaces. Achieving this bold vision requires investment in the University’s facilities and infrastructure.
