Arts and humanities programming at Carolina helps cultivate a diverse, inclusive and affirming culture. Through exhibitions, faculty residencies and experiential programs, the Carolina community is made better through storytelling at large.

Carolina Performing Arts announces first ‘All. Together. Now.’ festival

Designed as a large-scale celebration of art, research and community, the inaugural festival builds on Carolina Performing Arts’ annual programming and will bring people together for four days of performances, conversations and creative experiences.

Provides support for a focus on humble listening, community engagement, storytelling and the arts to ignite social change by addressing racial injustices, inequities, and a lack of diversity.

PlayMakers Repertory Company

Provides support for premiering new plays, designing and crafting costumes, reducing ticket costs for student matinees and hiring actors, directors and other artists from across the country to bring their talents to Chapel Hill.

Friends of the Institute for the Arts and Humanities

Provides support for additional operating funds for IAH activities and special programs.
