Access, affordability & scholarships

Open doors to a Carolina education by removing financial barriers and expanding access for talented students.

Opening doors for all

Carolina maintains its ability to recruit top scholars by ensuring each student can afford their education and offering opportunities to maximize their time along the way. Through financial support programs and experiential opportunities, Carolina is committed to affording every student the chance to thrive. Providing for students on both fronts is critical as the University strives toward growing enrollment over the next 10 years.

Providing access to Carolina

Carolina prides itself on helping students graduate debt-free. Our commitment to meeting 100% of each family’s demonstrated financial need is only made possible through your support.

College access and workforce development

More than two-thirds of North Carolina’s jobs will require a high-quality credential or post-secondary degree by 2030. Yet, 50% of high school seniors aren’t enrolling in a post-secondary institution. Carolina wants to close this achievement gap and ensure every student receives the guidance and support they need to succeed.
