End of Year Deadline for Gifts and Pledges:
To Receive a 2008 Tax Receipt:
Check Gifts: Gifts must be postmarked by 12/31/08.
Credit Card Gifts: Gifts by mail, hand delivery, faxed or phoned in must be received in Central Development Gift Office by 2pm on 12/31/08. Online gifts must be processed by 11:59pm EST on 12/31/2008
Stock Gifts: Physical hand deliveries (including UPS, FEDEX) must be received in the Central Development Gift Office by 2pm on 12/31/08.
Electronic securities transfer must be in the UNC-Chapel Hill account before the close of business (4pm) on 12/31/08.
Wire Transfer: Funds should be in UNC-Chapel Hill’s account by 4:00pm on 12/31/08.
