The Carolina Center for Public Service, established in 1999, ensures Carolina's place as a leading institution of public service. The center facilitates a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to public service across the University. A unique model among public universities, the Carolina Center for Public Service promotes service and its connection to teaching and research by supporting students, faculty, and staff as they respond to community need throughout North Carolina and beyond.
