School of Pharmacy
The UNC School of Pharmacy's mission is to become the nation's leading example of a "bimodal" school of pharmacy. This mission is centered on achieving excellence in two areas: progressive pharmaceutical care practice and sponsored research. To become the nation's leading school of pharmacy, we will build on our past while establishing new and ambitious goals appropriate for the times. Our more than 100-year-old foundation will be reworked, reshaped and blended into a model for other schools to follow.
Our successes, many times, can be tracked directly to private financial support. In keeping with our bimodal mission, private support is used to further both practice development and advanced research.
