School of Nursing
Throughout its 52-year history, the School of Nursing (SON) has been in the forefront on nursing education, research and community service. The school is a national leader in providing competent and compassionate health care for the benefit of North Carolina and the nation.
With private gifts, the school has substantially increased scholarship funds for students, established endowed professorships in nursing, upgraded classrooms and other facilities, purchased instructional equipment and more.
