Class of 2010 Senior Campaign for Carolina
The Office of University Development and Class of 2010 Officers encourage seniors to think of an area at Carolina they want to support, whether it be a School, Center or Institute, student organization or unit on campus. We hope you choose to support that area and leave your legacy where it means the most to you. Gifts made by seniors designated to any University fund will be considered participation in the 2010 Senior Campaign for Carolina.
Where Can I Give?
You can support scholarships, student organizations or a specific school or unit. You name it and there is probably a designated fund for it! Click on the link above, “Where can I give?”, to see a partial list of funds you can support.
Gifts of any size make a difference at Carolina. As a student, you benefit every day from the impact of private gifts that provide:
- Funding for student awards, conference opportunities and study abroad
- Exposure to world–renowned guest lecturers on campus
- Affordable admission to world–class performances and art collections
- Access to unique library collections and subscription–only scholarly journals
- Access to quality education through merit– and need–based scholarships
- New technology and equipment in state–of–the–art classroom and athletic facilities
Why Should I Give?
Perhaps in years past you have chosen to support an area of Carolina on your own or through our annual phonathon, pit days or through the Heelraisers Society. Perhaps your gift to the Senior Campaign will be your first. Either way, we hope you realize how valuable your gift is, no matter the size. For more information on how private gifts make a big impact at Carolina, click here or review students' Frequently Asked Questions.
All donors to the 2010 Senior Campaign for Carolina will receive a Class of 2010 decal (only available through the campaign) and will be recognized in a Class of 2010 Online Honor Roll of donors. Those who contribute at least $20.10 will also receive a Tar Heel lapel pin to wear at graduation and will be specially noted in all honor rolls.

The class will also be recognized with a stone paver at the Bell Tower. See the Class of 2009 stone here. [needs to be hyperlinked with a picture. Not yet ready]
Campaign Goals
The Class of 2010 set a goal to exceed the Class of 2009's record breaking 42% participation with average gifts of $20.10. Gifts must be received by graduation in order to count as campaign participation.
How Do I Give?
It's easy to make your gift now from your UNC One Card expense or by Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Participate today with three simple steps:
1. Decide what program in academics, student-life or athletics you want to support. See “Where can I give?” above for some ideas.
2. Decide on a gift amount that's right for you. Remember, you have the option to do automatic monthly or quarterly installments. A giving plan can help you increase the amount you give back to Carolina over an academic year. With a gift of $250 or more in an academic year (July 1 – June 30) you will be granted membership in the 1793 Society, which recognizes leadership annual giving donors. *Is the area you wish to support not listed? If you know this area accepts charitable donations, select “other” in both drop-down boxes and specify your request in the “Other Instructions” box. Please note that not every area on campus has a fund to receive donations. If you have any questions about the area you wish to support or to be sure that it has a fund to accept donations, plese contact
